For years, the Village of the Arts has enjoyed a true taste of Italy thanks to Remo and Meridith Mambelli. Together, they created Arte Caffè as a welcoming space where guests can slow down, connect, and savor the simplicity of Italian cuisine. I’m trying to bring the real deal,” says Remo Mambelli. “A simple taste of Italy.”

Remo’s passion for cooking began in Italy, inspired by years spent watching his mother in the kitchen. He carried those traditions with him when he moved to the United States in 1990, later building over 15 years of restaurant experience in Manhattan. It was there that he met Meridith—then a bartender he hired—before the two eventually brought their shared vision to life in Bradenton.
